Egg Roll in a Bowl

Egg Roll in a Bowl

Meat Filling Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground pork, turkey, or chicken
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 Tbs soy sauce

Mix together and marinate 10 minutes. Stir fry over high heat with a little cooking oil. Remove from pan.

Filling Ingredients:
- half head of cabbage
- 1 cup matchstick carrots
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 Tbs Chinese rice wine or cooking sherry
- 1 1/2 Tbs soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp sugar
-1 tsp sesame oil
- fresh ground pepper

Stir fry the veggies and garlic over medium-low heat for one minute until the veggies are soft. Add the rice wine, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and black pepper. Stir fry for another minute. Mix the meat back in.

Serve in a bowl and enjoy! Add a small drizzle of sweet chili sauce if desired (it REALLY makes it!).
